Doug Bruhnke is Founder and CEO of Growth Nation. He is an entrepreneur, investor and Growth Partner who supports the growth of clients in a variety of ways.
Doug has 25 years of international marketing, sales and business growth experience including doing business in 35 countries and living in Asia for six years with the DuPont Company of Wilmington, Delaware. His overseas expatriate work experience has been with DuPont Japan (Tokyo), DuPont Showa Denko KK (Tokyo, Kawasaki, Nagoya and Osaka) and DuPont Dow Elastomers (Singapore).
Doug has supported over 100 businesses and been responsible for marquee clients all over the world including Sony, Toyota, Honda, IBM, Seagate, GM, Ford, Chrysler, Delphi Automotive, TRW, Honeywell, Pfizer, Salt Lake 2002, Athens 2004, Harley-Davidson and Herradura Tequila. His business experience has included being part of leadership teams that have accomplished significant revenue and earnings growth at ProModel Solutions (Orem, Utah), Phelps Dodge Corporation (now Freeport McMoRan Copper and Gold, Phoenix) and franchise DataPreserve (Scottsdale). His consulting career has included leading successful projects with Johnson & Johnson, Microsoft, SAP, Accenture, Deloitte, General Motors and others around the world.

Doug is active in a variety of business, education and economic development organizations in Arizona, California, Utah, Oregon and Asia including serving on the boards of World Affairs Council of Arizona, Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations, Scottsdale Sister Cities Association, Arizona District Export Council, Arizona International Growth Group and University of Utah Alumni Association.
Doug also serves on the Public Policy Committee of Arizona Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the International Education Advisory Council of Scottsdale Community College and on the Marketing Committee for Invest Southwest Capital Conference. He is a volunteer with Arizona SCORE and the US State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program.
Growth Nation is a member of World Trade Center Association – San Diego, Arizona Small Business Association, Phoenix Sister Cities and Scottsdale Cultural Council. The firm also supports activities by Thunderbird School of Global Management, InterNations, World Trade Center, Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC), Arizona Commerce Authority, TiE-Arizona and The Green Chamber.
Doug is personally interested in causes that build diversity, grow global understanding and support the success of people all over the world.
