On Friday we were honored to participate in a special event at SkySong hosted by the World Affairs Council of Arizona and ASU SkySong as part of a program by the US State Department to bring business leaders from around the world to the United States. What a joy it was to interact with this group of young business people who asked plenty of questions, shared their own experiences and interacted wonderfully with the assembled roundtable of Arizona entrepreneurs and business people. I’m not alone in saying that the experience was fun and inspirational. Thanks to all who participated.
It made me think about how global growth often starts – with a simple discussion between two people. Each has an idea of what they’d like to do and during the conversation opportunities are discovered and before you know it, global trade ‘happens’. That simple discussion uncovers a new idea, a new way to think, a disruptive concept or a new way to get a needed product or service into a new market. When there is a need, there is a way.
At Growth Nation we have conversations like that every day often on behalf of clients to discover global trade opportunities. We develop strategies plans that articulate how global growth will happen and then help execute those strategies and plans to ‘get it done’. We support companies coming to the US and growing, and we help US companies who are looking to grow into new markets. Grow Globally
If you’d like to read more from the international visitors of this particular trip, please visit their Facebook fan page or their blog covering their US visit. You won’t want to miss Arizona’s Able Technology CEO Brandon Ames riding his horse into the meeting at Thunderbird. Here are pictures of their day at SkySong and Phoenix.
Wishing all the wonderful visitors a safe and productive visit! Thanks for stopping in Arizona. Let’s keep the discussion going, and before long, global business growth will happen!
