Maybe the Best Global Strategy Is Not Having One

A favorite CEO to work with over the years is Jerry Mills of B2BCFO. He has been generous in his thanks for our branding years ago that established a strong messaging and tagline for the firm: “Cash. We Help You Get It“. The fun in that tagline is the focus on cash – which CEO’s really care about – and the double meaning – that their professionals not only help CEO’s manage and get cash, but they also help them ‘get it’ and be more successful CEO’s. Great fit, and pure Jerry!

That was  5 years ago, and the brand persists and continues to build thanks to Jerry’s leadership and the firm’s ability to bring on strong financial professionals who are great assets for CEO’s across the U.S. B2BCFO grows and grows, and receives regular awards and recognition including Inc. 5000.

That said, years ago Jerry could have tried to expand the firm across borders especially into Canada. We’ve had the conversation – and he’s been adamant against it. Especially in those earlier days he was intent on focusing to gain U.S. success first, and perhaps down the road, consider global growth. Great decision!
