An elite group of over 1,200 global business executives, global leaders, government officials, NGO representatives and thought leaders from around the world gathered in Glendale, Arizona on Nov. 10-11 for two days of leading-edge dialogue, networking and collaboration on today’s most pressing global business topics.

The Thunderbird Global Business Dialogue was an extraordinary event! It focused on “Redefining Global Leadership” and achieved that goal splendidly. The discussions included exchanging ideas related to effective leadership in the new world economy; accelerating business across cultures; financial solutions for global growth and prosperity; navigating emerging markets and beyond; technology and its impact in an interconnected world; and business’s role in social and economic prosperity worldwide.

Among the speakers were Dr. Craig R. Barrett, retired CEO and chairman of the board for Intel Corporation; Carlos Danel, Co-Founder and Executive VP of Compartamos Banco, and Robert Dudley, the CEO of BP Group.

Growth Nation was honored to be a partner in this significant global business event. The next Global Business Dialogue will be in Berlin and hopefully the event returns to the US in 2012.

Coincidentally the Arizona Council for International Visitors (AZCIV) Celebration of Citizen Diplomacy event was held at The MIM (Musical Instrument Museum) on the evening of November 10th. What an international week it was!
